The Rutgers Alumni Association is working with on and off-campus partners to help undergraduate students who may not have the available funds for graduation robes to be able to walk proudly with their class. Robes will be collected from alumni donations, cleaned, and lent out to students for their ceremony and other graduation experiences
If your undergraduate graduation robe is in good condition (no holes, stains, or rips), please consider donating it to help the next generation of Rutgers alumni! We also invite you to share a note with the student who will receive your robe, with your wishes for their future and what graduating meant for you, alongside a picture from your own graduation!
All modern undergraduate and some graduate robes are accepted at this time. If you have any questions as to whether your robe is acceptable, please let us know.
