Kids and parents alike had a blast as they raced between activities that included basketball, Wallyball (like volleyball), swimming, musical chairs, golf putting, bean bag toss, seed planting and the inflatable bounce station. The non-stop action also included potato sack races, three-legged races with parents, egg on spoon races, and the always funny wrap the mummy (in toilet paper).
Following the morning’s merriment, everyone headed down the road to the Neilson Dining Hall for a kid-friendly lunch of hot dogs, chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese and funnel cakes. The Scarlet Knight even made a surprise appearance, high-fiving with delighted kids and posing for pictures.
All told, another great Alumni Family Day - an RAA event which alumni and their children look forward to year after year. Kudos to the Alumni Family Day Committee tri-chairs who worked tirelessly to pull it off: Jennifer Chenu, Mary Ann Hager and Greg Taylor.
Photos of all the fun.
