Throughout the morning, attendees tried their hand, and the rest of their bodies, for that matter, at the inflatable air bounce with slide, soccer, basketball, volleyball and swimming. Adding to the excitement was a host of games in the "midway," including a Scarlet-R football toss, Pin-the-Sword-on-the-Knight, ring toss, miniature golf putting, ball toss, and the chance to milk Aggie the Moo Cow. For those with unlimited energy, there were also musical chairs, adult-child 3-legged races, potato sack races, egg-on-spoon relay races, bowling, and the always popular Dress the Mummy (using endless rolls of toilet paper).
Around noon, the event shifted to the Cook Campus Center for lunch. In keeping with the Country Fair theme, guests feasted on hot dogs, corn on the cob, salad and funnel cakes, as well as the kid-friendly chicken tenders, pizza bagels, macaroni and cheese. Best of all, no one left empty-handed. Everyone received a special T-shirt and was eligible for numerous door prizes and additional giveaways. Children also received goody bags.
