Rutgers Alumni Association

RAA History

Founded in 1831, the Rutgers Alumni Association (RAA) is the fourth oldest alumni association in the United States. Although it began as the Alumni Association of Rutgers College, the RAA has grown over the years to include graduates of Rutgers College, The School of Engineering, The College of Agriculture, The School of Education, The Mason Gross School of the Arts, The Graduate School/ New Brunswick and the School of Management and Labor Relations. Today, the RAA is the largest alumni association in the Rutgers University family

Alumni worldwide support the organization through their participation in our many events, and their lifelong connection to Rutgers. Among the benefits they receive are various publications; including 1766, and access to sporting events, RAA merchandise, and much more.

Membership in the RAA provides opportunities for comaraderie and fellowship, service to the University and a member's school, and opportunities to strengthen the bond between alumni and Rutgers.
